Sunset Bowl

Sunset Bowl

One traditional touchstone came to the end of its journey, but it allowed boomboom to celebrate that heritage in a new way. As Sunset Bowl wound down their operations in Ballard Seattle we secured everything from bowling pins, to bowling balls even our guest seating is made out of seats from Sunset Bowl. We have a lot to thank them for.

Creatively it was a chance to reinvent a legacy, and demonstrate that recycling does not just mean paper or plastic water bottles but taking something really unique and giving it a new life. Every time we have a guest they are not only visiting boomboom but celebrating the history, heritage and cultural touchstone that Sunset Bowl brought to this community. Thank you Sunset we are in your lane.

The Wall of Innovation

The Wall of Innovation

Welcome to the world of boomboom! We are located in Pioneer Square in Seattle Washington one of the most innovative cities in the country. Our space is designed to reinforce our culture and the mission of the company, to make big ideas bigger. Every inch of boomboom central celebrates great innovation and big thinking.

When you walk in you are met with our wall of innovation. Every square contains a breakthrough product or celebrates some cool concept and big thinking. Of course it contains some offerings from our previous company Cranium Inc. but also everything from the first collapsible keyboard to Rodney Dangerfields bowling ball, we draw inspiration from many places. Come visit any time.

Furniture is largely from our friends at Area 51 in Seattle. We have art from a variety of places but most importantly from Daniel Peacock who created the boomboom cute logo, to Boris Bally who has created table, chairs and wall art for boomboom central.    Of course we have tons of Gary Baseman too who gave the look to Cranium. The lesson here is to create an environment that echoes and celebrates the values and core promise of what your company stands for. Every day you will be living the brand and feeling that sense of shared purpose. Not a job, but a mission.

My desk is right in the thick of things and here you can see that color in the space is inherited from the brand, another important component in ensuring that everyone is living the brand every day.
